  1. I absolutely love them! The Red Period is interesting considering the timing with the end of the semester, as you hinted. 😉 I look forward to seeing more and really appreciate you sharing these!

  2. The above pictures represent Marc Schuster’s “Red Period,” which sounds much more disgusting than it actually is. The use of red could signify the infamous “red pen,” angrily marking up students’ work at the end of a long semester. Or, more likely, it could represent the painter’s visions of murder and/or suicide as he closes yet another year of professorship.
